Gifted

This one is for the person still waiting for permission.

Somewhere along the way, we learned to treat our gifts like they're pending approval. Like they're not real until somebody else confirms them. We wait for the promotion to call ourselves leaders. We wait for the audience to call ourselves creators. We wait for somebody, anybody, to look at what we carry and say “that's special” before we'll say it ourselves.

But here's the truth I need you to sit with: your gift doesn't become valuable when someone else recognizes it. It was already there. Before the applause, before the opportunity, before anybody clapped, the gift was already in you. You arrived with it.

Which means the world didn't give it to you, and the world can't take it from you.

That's a hard thing to hold onto when the room is quiet. When you're building something nobody sees yet. When you're the only one who believes in the vision. But you don't need everyone to see the vision before you believe it in yourself. Seeing it first is literally the job. Every builder, every founder, every dreamer who ever made something real started as the only witness to it.

So what do you do while you wait for the world to catch up?

You protect it. You sharpen it. You use it on the days it feels small, because that's what makes it big. And you wear the reminder. That's why GIFTED exists: a gold phoenix above the word, so every time you put it on, you remember who you are before anyone else has to tell you.

Bold. Strong. Gifted. Not because they said so. Because you were.
